Flo-Tubes replace a pup joint and flow coupling made up to each other. This product combines the two into a single unit. They are generally used above and below areas where turbulent flow is expected. For example above and below landing nipples and safety valves. Flo-Tubes eliminate additional connections and possible.

 

Features and Benefits:

· Fore ease of handling, the typical lengths of Flo-Tubes are 10’ and 12’; however, any length can be manufactured upon request. The flow coupling sections are normally 6’ through 8’, and the pup joint sections are normally 4’. The Flow Coupling Section is always adjacent to the downhole flow control device.

· These Flo-Tubes are available in all carbon and exotic grades of steel including stainless steel and high alloy. Flo-Tubes are available as specified in API or to the thread manufacturer’s specs.

· Flo-Tubes are available as box x pin, pin x box, box x box, or pin x pin. These can also be provided with plan end x plain end.
