Flow Couplings are generally used above and below areas where turbulent flow expected. For example, above and below landing nipples and safety valves.

· The Flow Coupling Section is always adjacent to the downhole flow control device.

· These Flow Couplings are available in all carbon and exotic grades of steel including stainless steel and high alloy. Flow Couplings are available as specified in API or to the thread manufacturer’s specs.

· Flow Couplings are available as box x pin, pin x box, box x box, or pin x pin. These can also be provided with plan end x plain end.
