Hydraulic Set Permanent Packer
The PetroQuip Hydraulic Set Permanent Packer is designed to create an annular pressure barrier between the production tubing and the casing.
The packer is set with applied tubing pressure against a plug below the packer which sets the slips and expands the packing element to seal between the tubing and the casing.
To remove the packer from the wellbore the tubing string is cut above the packer and the packer is milled before removing the rest of the tubing string.
