Splice Sub

The PetroQuip Splice Sub is a field-proven method to terminate all pre-plumbed intelligent completion assemblies.  The Splice Sub is designed for ease of use in the field and customized to fit the needs of the customer’s applications.  The splices are externally testable in the field to ensure the pressure integrity.  All termination points are protected by the Splice Sub while running in the hole.

Benefits:

• Up to eight control lines may be run through a single splice sub.

• Allows sub assemblies to be plumbed prior to installation.

• Concentric body configuration.

• Connections can be externally tested to ensure proper sealing of jam nuts before deploying in the well.

• Contains clamps to provide hold down points for control lines on top and bottom of sub for control line protection.
